FAQs
The best egg pan features a highly slippery nonstick surface so that eggs release effortlessly. For that reason, our Ceramic Nonstick Always Pan and Titanium Always Pan Pro are some of the best options, designed with ultra-slippery surfaces that ensure eggs don't stick and cleanup is simple.
Plus, both are compatible with our Egg Poacher accessory, taking your egg pan to the next level by turning it into an egg poacher pan with a simple accessory, rather than requiring you to purchase a separate, dedicated pan.
A 8.5" egg pan is best for one or two eggs and single omelettes. A 10.5" frying pan for three or four eggs, or a scramble for two and a 12.5” frying pan is great for large family meals with up to 8 eggs.
Mostly the curve. Omelette pans have gently sloped, rounded sides that let you slide a spatula underneath and roll the egg out in one motion. A frying pan with flared sides does the same job, which is why a good 8.5" nonstick pan works as an omelette pan without being sold as one.
You can, with technique. Stainless steel isn't naturally nonstick so eggs tend to stick to it, especially if you’re going for an omelette or a sunny-side up. Our Titanium Always Pan Pro is a great alternative to stainless steel pans and offers the same durability and coating-free interior but is built with a NoCo™ nonstick surface that allows for easy release while keeping high searing power.
